Treasure hunters hit Klang Valley and Sabah

EDARAN Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd recently completed two Nissan Treasure Hunt events for its customers in the Central and Sabah regions.

A total of 81 teams participated in the six-hour hunt and the hunters were required to complete tasks and challenges, competing against each other to score the highest points.
One of the tasks included a search for Nissan’s Best-Selling Global Sedan by ‘checking-in’ at the ‘Nissan Almera Island Display’ checkpoint in 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
The treasure hunt also included a corporate social responsibility element where goodie bags filled with food and household items were delivered to Rumah Sejahtera Seri Kembangan.
The finale took place at Cyberview Resort & Spa.
Team Paradigm Runners were crowned the overall winner and first runner-up went to Hunters R Us while Family 4 Tune took third place.
Another Nissan Treasure Hunt event was organised for Nissan’s Sabah customers and a total of 32 teams took part.
The contestants gathered at Tan Chong’s Kota Kinabalu Nissan 3S showroom before proceeding on to the Commando Challenge at Likas beach.
Teams were required to complete the challenges which included a Frisbee throwing activity.
The final task led everyone to Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa where the hunters competed to piece together a jigsaw puzzle.
Clark Adrian Lanjuat, Jessie Jinn, Dynneta Dimeh Koyupo and Zeno Paulus of Team 6 were crowned as the overall champion followed by Salleh Tating, Jessica Jokumil, Syaqille Zuhair Salleh and Syaffin Zuhair Salleh of Team 35 who took second place.

NISSAN TREASURE HUNT 2012 KICKS OFF IN PETALING JAYA
KUALA LUMPUR 8 SEPTEMBER 2012: The 13th Annual Nissan Treasure Hunt 2012 was successfully organized by Customer Relations Department (CRD ) of Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) on 8th September 2012. The fun and dynamic event was part of ETCM’s ongoing Customer Relations Management programme to enhance the customer ownership experience as well as to reward its customers for their loyalty and support.
A total of 49 teams participated in the 6-hour hunt with their Nissan vehicles that include the key models such as the Teana, Sylphy, Grand Livina, Navara, and Livina X-Gear. Ultimately, the hunters are required to complete tasks and challenges as they compete to score for the highest points.
In 1 Utama, participants are tasked to search for the Global Best-Selling Sedan by ‘checking-in’ at the ‘Nissan Almera Island Display’ checkpoint while striking for the most creative candid pose in front of the camera. The showcase of this latest B-segment sedan also meant to be the first preview to Nissan owners. Do logon to Nissan Facebook to get an insight into the fun treasure hunt.
The second challenge was happening at ETCM Southgate Nissan showroom where everyone required to spot the key differences between the latest Nissan Grand Livina AUTECH and Nissan Grand Livina. Moving to the next mission, the hunters became willing participants in ETCM’s Corporate Social Responsibilities programme by picking up goodie bags filled with food and household items from the same showroom as a ‘treasure’. All 181 participants are seen happily delivering these treasures to Rumah Sejahtera Seri Kembangan with one enthusiastic Nissan loyal customer commented, “Having fun and working for good deeds at the same time!”
The finale took place at Cyberview Resort & Spa. ‘Paradigm Runners’ was crowned the overall winner in this central region edition with a high score 140 out of a possible 150. 1st runner-up went to the ‘Hunters R Us’ and the ‘Family 4 Tune’ took the third placing.
All Nissan Treasure Hunt participants get to walk home with a prize. There were numerous rounds of lucky draws being held throughout the high tea. So even if a team did not perform as good as the other winners, they would still stand a chance of winning some good prizes.
