ECO-CHALLENGE 2012 TREASURE HUNT - News

Hunters ran riot in the Penang International Sports Arena, as they gallantly completed the puzzles and tasks during Eco-Challenge 2012 Treasure Hunt.

From the original 24 teams, the field was narrowed down to only 6, after 2 qualifying sessions on Sat 22nd Sep 2012. The next day, it was certainly a race against time, as each team attempted to outdo, outpace and outlast their rivals.

The Grand Prize winner turned out to be The Hunter team, which according to one of the team members, Ms Lim Lay Sim, this was their first participation in treasure hunting.

Whether this was beginner's luck or the use of the right strategy, they surely deserved a pat on the back!

Take part in exciting quest for treasure

A TREASURE hunt will be held on Sept 22 and 23 in conjunction with the Penang Green Expo 2012.

Themed ‘Eco Challenge 2012 Treasure Hunt’, the contest is jointly organised by Penang Green Council and Ezivoucher.

It is open to 20 teams with four members in each team.

Komtar assemblyman Ng Wei Aik, who is also Penang Green Citizens Programme organising chairman, said the objective was to enable participants to learn more about the exhibitors and their services.

The Penang Turf Club, G Hotel, Eastin Hotel, CHT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Jviss Hair Beauty, Wisdom Touch and Deebeauty are sponsoring the prizes which include cash and hampers.

All participants must be at least 18 years old. Registration closes on Monday and can be done online at http://www.ezivoucher.com.

Visitors to the expo also stand a chance to win an electric scooter worth RM11,000 in the lucky draw.
