In another initiative to promote environmental awareness and the usage of public transport, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, the operator of Rapid Penang bus services in Pulau Pinang, has organized a first ever Green to Heritage Hunt 2014.
Held on 12 April 2014 at Penang Municipal (Youth Park), the event also involved staff of Rapid Penang in strengthening rapport and build closer understanding between the bus operator and its customers.
With two categories created for the event to ensure a level playing field, Rapid Penang staff competed amongst themselves with members of the public including invited media representatives contesting in the other category.
“Through this initiative, we not only hope that the participants will interact with one another, but also to be a platform to allow them to know how Rapid Penang route planning is done and how fun and enjoyable our bus rides can be,” said Rapid Penang COO, Major Mohd Shukri Bin Abdul Rahman (R).
