TNT CHARITY HUNT 2013 - News

~ Hundreds turned up for TNT Express Malaysia’s Charity Hunt 2013~


Kuala Lumpur, 17 November 2013 – The TNT Charity Hunt 2013 ended on a high note as it saw an increased in number of teams, whereby more than 320 participants turned up as early as 6:30am for a good cause.

Ngoh Siaw Ling, Human Resources Director of TNT Express Malaysia, shared her excitement for this year’s hunt at flag-off: “We are excited to see the Charity Hunt growing to a bigger scale year upon year. It is important to us at TNT that we raise some funds and give back to the less fortunate, and this year we are pleased to be able to support four children homes”.

SOROPTIMIST AND ETIQA RAISE AWARENESS AND FUNDS THROUGH TREASURE HUNT

Treasure hunt aims to educate and raise funds to halt violenceagainst women and children.

The Soroptimist International Club of Bangsar (SICB) in collaboration with Etiqa Insurance & Takaful recently held another successful treasure hunt to raise funds and the much needed awareness to halt violence against women and children.

CPA AUSTRALIA'S AMAZING CITY HUNT 2013 - News


Accountants are traditionally known as boring bean-counters, but that was certainly not the case on Sunday 10th Nov 2013!


With more than 30 teams of accountants and friends embarking on CPA Australia's Amazing City Hunt, it was a fun-filled day with CPA-related Challenge and mind-boggling questions!

Held in conjunction with International Accountants Day, some questions were also related to common accounting terms, such as General Ledger, tax and IRD, which makes the event more relevant!

MENGO GREEN HUNT 2013 - News

Galak pengangkutan awam

Baju makin kuyup dibasahi keringat and sang mentari nun terik di atas kepala. Ditambah suasana hingar bingar dan hiruk pikuk di sekitar Brickfileds sememangnya mampu menyesakkan minda dan fizikal terutama dalam cuaca sebegitu.


Selain pengetahuan asas, peserta turut dibenarkan mencari jawapan dengan telefon pintar.

Toleh kanan, sekumpulan lelaki sibuk mencari arah sambil mengipas muka dengan topi masing-masing. Terdetik di hati betapa nikmatnya saat ini andai dapat meredakan bahang dalam ruang berhawa dingin.
Cuaca panas tidak mematahkan semangat pasukan
ini tampil berbeza dengan topi binatang.

Toleh kiri, empat sekawan pula dengan selamba berbincang di tepi jalan sesak sambil mengenakan topi serigala berfabrik tebal. 

“Ini cara kami untuk tampil berbeza dengan yang lain,” ujar seorang daripada mereka.

Dalam masa sama, tidak kurang juga yang cuba berteduh di balik rimbunan pokok dan barisan kedai sambil tangan tidak berhenti meneliti telefon pintar masing-masing.

Jaw muscles working overtime to fill empty tummies. The KL Fabulous Food Hunt 2013 leave Shuib Taib and Khairul Ashraf Kammed open-mouthed with awe...

BLOWING HOT AND COLD

THEY were hungry. They were raring to go. Last Saturday, 600 participants of KL Fabulous Food Hunt 1Malaysia 2013 combed the city streets in search of the best eateries.

Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture FT KL/Putrajaya Office and the Life and Times Travel desk of the New Straits Times, the event began at Lanai Matic in Jalan Ampang and ended at Seri Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

It was launched by the Ministry’s deputy secretary general, Rashidi Hasbullah.
The rules were simple: Eat and move on to the next checkpoint until all the tasks were completed.

The reward: The champions get RM5,000 and return flight tickets for four to Adelaide, Australia. First and second runners-up take home RM3,000 and RM1,500 respectively.
There were nine checkpoints (in no particular order) and three treasures.  Here were some of the highlights.
