TNT CHARITY HUNT 2012 - News

TNT Charity Hunt 2012 was certainly a great success, with more than 60 teams joining the event on 2nd December 2012 for the noble cause of fund raising. The proceed was presented to the beneficiaries - 3 shelter homes for less fortunate children.

While COC Rajj of Purple Antz was in charge of the Beginners' questions, the tougher questions for the Regulars were concocted by his co-COC Jayaram Menon. The posers were definitely challenging, where the hunters were given a strenuous mental exercise.

To ensure that the hunters were fully awake before the hunt, special instructors from the sponsor Celebrity Fitness were brought in for the physical exercise.

Check out the photos of the hunters in action, the result and some hunt Q&A, as well as the winners!

TNT charity hunt returns bigger, better

KUALA LUMPUR: The TNT Charity Hunt is back following the immense success of the inaugural hunt held last December.

The second installation of the hunt is expected to be bigger, with more prizes up for grabs, while also raising funds for children from underprivileged backgrounds.

The hunt will take place on Dec 2 and will take participants around the Klang Valley.

Last year's hunt saw the participation of 54 teams of four each, and this year's event is expected to more than double, with the participation of over 100 teams.

TNT Express Malaysia managing director S.C. Chong said: "After we held last year's hunt, we received a lot of positive feedback from participants, partners and sponsors who insisted that we conduct the hunt again this year."

Organisations wishing to be a sponsor can choose from a variety of sponsorship packages, including being a product sponsor for goodie bags.

All funds raised from the hunt will be shared equally by three beneficiary shelter homes for less fortunate children.

They are Precious Children's Home and Shelter Home for Children in Petaling Jaya, and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Yatim dan Miskin Wawasan Port Dickson.

Hunt participants have the choice of two categories -- Beginner (for those new to treasure hunts) and Regular (for seasoned hunt enthusiasts).

For both categories, the winning team will receive RM2,000, while the second and third runners up will receive RM1,250 and RM800, respectively.

Registration fee is RM200 per team of four, which includes a light breakfast before the hunt and lunch or high-tea.
