For those of you who didn't go for the Atmah hunt, here's a tough Treasure Q from the hunt:-
T1.
For the first treasure, a cleaner you must target,
Add a high-end minus the last word from a band: please relate,
Browse the beginnings nothing great, the treasure's not hard for you to break.
Have a shot if you haven't tried it before!

The treasure I seek is a sort of our staple you’ll find out,
T3. Pure goodness from the Italian Alps is what is sought, |
A couple that’s on offer at a sponsor’s outlet is to be bought, |
Look out for it at the right place and it won’t be a difficult task, |
To ensure your points you also need assure me you did what I ask. |
T4. |
One box of what was originally from Sydney is the treasure |
Loved by most of us especially when it comes in a van is sure |
In our country since 1950 named from a Greek athlete I am told |
Malaysia has the biggest factory, so bring a dry one that’s 100 old. |
T5. |
This treasure is a hit during the festivities, |
So I shall not indulge into the brand formalities, |
Cougar’s star may help with these sweeties, |
Just bring in as many to complete your duties. |
T6. |
A spread is what must be hunted, |
In it 16% water must be contained, |
A flower on it will be clearly stated, |

Participants of treasure hunt will go on cross-state journey
WE’VE all felt the desire to do more for the underprivileged, and more often than not, we want our families and friends to be involved.
With the Atmah Charity Treasure Hunts, we can.
The 7th annual hunt that raises funds and treasures for the underprivileged will be held on Aug 13 and 14.
Loads of fun: Children participating in an out of classroom session with volunteers. |
This time, it promises to be an exciting cross-state journey, as the hunt begins from the Petaling Jaya Civic Centre, and will end at the Bukit Gambang Resort City in Kuantan. This resort houses a theme park which offers non-stop fun and excitement, and a wide variety of fun water activities for adults and children.
The hunt promises to be a satisfying one every single step of the way, as all treasure items that are hunted and brought in by the participants will be essential items that will be of urgent need for poor families or charity homes, and these items will be donated to such deserving parties immediately after the hunt.
This year’s event is offering great prizes for winning teams, including cash totalling at least RM6,000 for the top three teams. In addition, each team that signs up for the hunt will receive at least RM200 worth of goodie items from the various sponsors.
These sponsors have chosen to contribute towards the Annual Atmah Charity Treasure Hunt because of all the good work from participants, volunteers and organisers alike.
Everyone involved will also be entertained by a delightful evening of trivia quizzes with more prizes to be won. They will also be treated to a Salsa performance and other group activities.
All proceeds are in benefit of the community projects that are fully run by the Atmah Project Committee, a team of dedicated volunteers who spend their time sharing their knowledge, skills and human values with the needy children who participate in their projects.
The community projects are aimed at children from urban poor neighbourhoods, especially among those in low-cost flats and squatters.
Activities include providing free tuition classes, human values appreciation programmes, leadership and team building and inter-personal communication skills, just to name a few.
Apart from this, the Atmah Project team also runs out welfare programmes such as food assistance for the needy, blood donation and counselling.
